Getting started is the hardest part, and you’ve done it!

Instead, focus on helping others.

You never went viral? Stop chasing that high. Keep posting. Keep helping others.

You finally went viral? Stop chasing that high again. Keep posting. Keep helping others.

Your brand = your value to others

There are 1000s of people who are just as qualified as you. Even more who work in the same industry.

But there is one thing you have that no one else on the planet does - your story.

So tell it!

Choose a key point in your life and explain how it changed you. Talk about a realisation you had + the effect it had on you. Showcase what you did this week.

Remember: your credibility comes from everything you’ve done so far in life and that all resides within your story!

Keep a notes tab on your laptop, a folder for screenshots or anything else that you can use to document content ideas and save your favourite posts.

It's hard to just sit down and brainstorm great posts.

Make it easier by collating content that either inspires you, provokes interesting thoughts or triggers your memory.

Learn from the content you consume.

Ask: what kind of formats and themes are resonating with people? Then apply your OWN personal story, opinions or experience to those trending shareable structures.

This way you create unique and original content, but in a way that has the best chance of being seen and heard!

Know what you’re in it for! Are you building a personal brand for:

Leads? Then don’t listen to LinkedIn growth experts. Follow Richard Moore. He’ll teach you more about linkedin sales and conversion than anyone could ever.

Focus on conversations in the DMS. Focus on looking at your profile views.Focus on doing outbound

Audience and community building? Then don’t just spam CTAs and testimonials. Follow people like Jasmin Alic or myself. From writing to entertain or convert and using psychology to build authority. Show personality and master one domain.

Both? Then you need to be patient.

People buy from people they know, like and trust. In order to build that, you need to treat your linkedin in seasons.

A season to grow. A season to sell. A season to convert.

You’re not late to the party, it just got started.

Don’t rush into trends or tricks.

You have time.
